Free Dove
Just typing that out gives one fond memories of just starting out in Second Life. I started in late '08 and freebie dungeons were everywhere. But every now and again, there would be a place with nice freebies that weren't stolen or ripped from other goods. Free Dove, along with other freebie places, Had an array of items for women mostly. There were some men items but not many. The store still hosts a bunch of older items but recently the owner had asked those who donated before to do so again, this time with updated stuff. The owner of Free Dove also asked if they would put a note card in with the items to talk to new SL avatars about the different aspects that you are about to find in this new world. (good and bad)

My name is Apatia Hammerer and that's only because when *i* joined i was told that if I married my friend I could have her last name. That was a lie. Don't believe people when they tell you things like that - they are lying to you.
I joined SL in 2007 because my friends told me to.
Then they drug me around the grid dressing me up and made me buy hair and I hated everything and I refused to log back in for a few days. But then I missed them and I came back. And then I got bored one day and my friend Melatonin and I started drawing in photo shop and opened a store called Thimbles.
Thimbles did pretty ok for a while, it's how we met an amazing number of brilliant people that we're both very glad to call friends now. We were weird, somehow the weirdos found us... I think when that happens you should never let go.
So anyways - We closed Thimbles down last year because Melatonin and I both have our own solo shops now. Mine is called Pig, hers is called Split Pea (which you can find on the sim of Elliott by typing Elliott into your map).
I have no idea what else to write here.
If my daughter makes me watch Tangled with her one more time though I may cry.

 Such a personal story but it gives you a better glimpse into Second Life. How things can turn around for you if you work hard at it!

Now on to the clothing!

 The first purple dress is one of many from Elate! There are two different boxes in Free Dove to find with many dresses. The gold shoes are from Baby Monkey and are in several of these shots. Baby Monkey gifted FD with 2 kinds of pumps and one set of flats in 4 colors. The middle outfit is a gift from the owner of Sn@tch, (a personal favorite). The shoes come with that outfit. The last outfit of the picture is from Apple May Designs, a new to me store.

 First up is a complete outfit with socks from Pig, (The store from the example). Naughty N Nice gifted this outfit complete with belt and bracelet. That seemed to be an older outfit along with the last there from !Slab.

All 3 of these outfits are from Elate! The bracelets in the middle picture are from Earthstones which is a very well known jeweler in Second life.

Head over there now to get some great deals. All these new outfits are mixed in with older ones. You'll end up with many gems.
