Twilight Eclipse premiere: Top ten red carpet dresses

IF YOU'RE going to faithfully portray Twilight Saga author Stephanie Meyer's vampires, you need plenty of beautiful people to play them.
That might explain why the special black carpet at last night's glittering LA premiere of Twilight Saga: Eclipse was swarming with stunning ladies in staggering gowns.

Ashley Greene's dusty blue Grecian style floor-length silk gown by Alexis Mabille Couture was effortlessly classy, worn with a clutch bag and loose tresses.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart and pal Dakota Fanning, who plays Volturi vampire Jane in Eclipse, wore mini-dresses by Elie Saab. Refreshingly, both kept it natural with not a trace of fake tan in sight.

We loved Anna Kendrick's pleated metallic mini-dress with curled edges.

While Elizabeth Reaser, who plays Esme Cullen, pulled off a daring sheer black dress with a super-short hemline.

Model Marisa Miller glittered in blue sequins while Nikki Reed opted for a fun blue feathered frock.

Bryce Dallas Howard - that's evil vampire Victoria to you and I - teamed her flame-red locks with a pale yellow Dior gown.

Tinsel Korey, who plays Emily Young in the Saga, played it safe in black while Kellan Lutz's girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord went neutral with a champagne dress.
