A casual day.

A casual day

It's a new day - it's a new outfit!
So here is one of the things I bought at H&M in Berlin about two weeks ago now. Normally I don't like these haarem pants on me because actually I have wide hips and don't have the long legs I wish I would have ... but these pants I really like. I think if I would have worn these pants in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen or maybe in New York people wouldn't have stared at me as they did in my hometown 'Hanover' last week. I'm not kidding! I wore these pants to do some shopping in the city and people stared at me like ... I even don't know how. In my opinion it's very funny because you can see based on this example again that most of the people don't even know what fashion really means and first of all what the fashionable people really wear. :P (Like us bloggers!) I don't want to say that I'm the top fashionable person - I'm trying my best to become one ;) - but in my hometown I already do look like one, like an absolutly different person that doesn't belong to that city and its appearance. Strange! So Hanover and all its inhabitants: you have to expand your sense of fashion - you need to have the heart to do something different, to look different! It's not always easy to be 'different' but what does 'different' really mean? Maybe sometime we will know that answer ...

Ein lockeres wohlfuehl Outfit muss dementsprechend her. A very edgy & casual look is born.

DANKE!

NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Hourglass figures and statement jewelry were favorites among the glamorous attendees at Sunday night’s Emmy awards – but that’s not to say there weren’t a few risky wardrobe choices.
CBS 2’s Dana Tyler takes a look at the fashion hits and misses.
First, the misses.
What was January Jones thinking? Some found her Versace gown with the pointy top and uneven bottom downright comical.
“It kind of had a Jetsons-type silhouette,” said Dawn Yanek, Editor-in-Chief of Life & Style Weekly. “The top was cone-shape and Madonna-like.”
Also on Life & Style’s list of gowns-gone-wrong was Anna Paquin’s dress.
“It basically featured gold armor on her shoulders,” said Yanek. “It was definitely a risky style, one that didn’t necessarily pay off.”
But Yanek said overall, it was a night for classic Hollywood style.
“The color navy blue, also embellishments and a-symmetrical, really dramatic necklines,” she said. “And statement jewelry made a big comeback.”
Wardrobe hits included Glee star Leah Michelle.
“She looked absolutely gorgeous in that navy blue Oscar de la Renta gown,” Yanek said.
Blonde bombshell Claire Danes also did it right in Swarovski-encrusted Armani gown.
“She just looked like perfect,” Yanek said.
And Emmy winner Kyra Sedgewick kept it real by keeping it simple.
“She didn’t overdo it with jewelry, didn’t overdo it with hair and make up,” said Yanek. “And of course she had the best accessory – Kevin Bacon as her husband.”
Hourglass shapes were popular – and so was wearing white.
“When you’re Kim Kardashian and you’re a woman with killer curves, it’s easy to go over the top in the fashion category.” said Yanek. “But she looked like an absolute goddess.”
Yanek said the standout among the men was the stand-up hair on Oscar winner Al Pacino. He won a Best Actor emmy for his role as a real-life Dr. Jack Kevorkian.
“Al Pacino can do whatever he wants, because he’s Al Pacino,” Yanek said. “But the hair is getting a little crazy. He might wanna reign that in for next year.”
In the meantime, we’ll see what fashion trends end up going from the red carpet to a store near you.

After one week of illness I'm back in the blogger world!
Today was the first day I felt much better and after I saw the first sunbeams coming through my window, I decided to get dressed to take some new pictures for you.
As I told you some posts before I have a loooot of new clothes in my closet but till now I didn't have much time to take some new outfit pictures. The next three months will be no bed of roses for me because I have so much work to do. But I think this post is a good start to build on for more posts.
Some posts before I gave you a small impression of some new H&M pieces, today I combined them with my favorite jacket and new Primark heels (bought them about two or three months ago).
I have to say I definitely love that color on me! I think I'm more the bluetype than the pinkish one ... :P
Maybe it's a little bit too much of the 'Tiffany Blue' in that outfit *haha* but I kinda love it!

Now it's your turn to give some reports on that outfit, so leave a comment and stay tuned for upcoming outfitposts.
