If I had to live in one era it would probably be the 1970s. Or the 1920s, but I had to pick one and the other goes best with my post today, so 70s it is.  There is something about these wide leg jeans that make me feel carefree and bohemian. Although I'll never give up skinny jeans (and I mean never: I will wear them till I die even if I am the only 90 year old wearing them. I'll be a hot 90 year old.) they are a nice break from the norm.

Speaking of a break from the norm, we are off on a road trip to visit the in-laws. And lucky for B, I just downloaded all of my favorite songs from high school. At least one of us will be having a good time.

Sacrifices and Priorities

Remember the last time I wore this and I said that I didn't know why it wasn't as tight as before? I know why now. It's because I didn't zip it up all the way. Trust me, it's still tight. I'm gasping for air as I type this. I do this all for you guys. The high heels, the tight skirts, the hours I sacrifice on the internet watching youtube videos instead of playing with my dog or feeding my husband -- it's all for you. 
I like to give credit where credit is due, so this outfit brought to you by the 1980s, my local thrift store and Olivia Palermo. Although forgive me as my necklace isn't quite as fancy as hers. I hate when I have to pay rent over buying jewels. Priorities are the worst.
