Soon to be Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) graduate Joshua McVeity, 29, is on his way to a prosperous and successful career as an editorial photographer.With a portfolio of striking images that are sure to capture the minds and attention of all - McVeity has become the go-to guy for the Mode Models International office.
February 6, 2009 will be the unveiling of Joshua's solo exhibition at Art Life Gallery (1312 1st Street S.W.) entitled "Hello" - An introduction to photographer Joshua McVeity.
Joshua will be showing 10 photographs at Artlife Gallery and we can tell you now they are nothing short of pure brilliance.
His simple approach with beautiful execution creates an overwhelming awestruck emotion that is rare to find in modern art.
Joshua has allowed us to share some of his work that has never been seen by the public with the surprise image below.
The model is April, a new face with Mode Models International. Absolutely stunning!She is wearing all vintage clothes, something that Joshua works often with. The shoot was styled by Caleigh Kansas while Keri Gordon beautifully worked the makeup and hair.
Joshua's show is part of Exposure Photo Festival running in Calgary and Banff for the month of February.
